I am a 48-year-old software engineer and have worked in the defense industry for 22 years. I experienced rebirth on January 7, 1992, while on a business trip to Germany. Before my conversion, I believed only in myself, and my life was built on the truth as I knew it and on logic. I was a compulsive, materialistic, self-centered, egotistical workaholic who didn’t know the difference between love and lust—that is, until the Holy Spirit came and knocked me off my horse. He showed me that things weren’t exactly as they appeared. My world was shattered. Then Jesus came, and the rest is history. Since I didn’t know any other way of doing it, I started building a new life, which again was based on truth and logic, only this time it was the truth of God’s Word and a spiritual logic. I have found that the Holy Spirit speaks so very softly and that God has an infinite number of ways of saying, I love you. We must quiet our minds and listen intently for His gentle voice. Each song on this CD represents my response to an encounter with the Creator. God doesn’t speak to me in an audible voice. He communicates with me on an emotional level, He Whispers to the Heart. God speaks by placing realizations into my heart and mind, realizations about His awesome love and power. After an encounter with God, I have an overwhelming desire to sing His praises and share His message of love with the entire world. While listening to this CD may you see, hear, and experience God''s manifold love, just as I did while writing each song.
