Being an Angolan-American raised in Philadelphia you hear an urban edge to his folk style. He also speaks Portuguese and on the CD he sings “carnaval” in Portuguese. He has toured in Africa with the group N''Sex Love where he was a singer and keyboard player. On this tour He learned an original version of the song “Humbi Humbi” the first cut on the CD. The song Jaminin is a collaboration with two of his brothers who are working on their CD.
