Ray is already at work on "Soul of a Man II" a soulful smoothjazz/gospel project mainly featuring piano over top of some phenominal tracks!"
This album not only expresses the Soul music vibe, but goes into a musical mode of the Soul of some men and how the road in life takes many patterns and arrangements just as music does. Ray currently is a drummer at his church and plays additional keys (as noted in the Narrow Gate bio).
"Soul of a Man", takes right off from his last CD "Narrow Gate" with a soulful pace of music while maintaining the groove. Each track lays heavy on the rhodes adding piano and organ fills as well. The drum programming and arrangements in each sequence grabs the listener quickly with many energetic intro''s, changes, fills and vamps.
