After a 2 and a half year wait the self titled debut album from The New Weather Machine has been completed. A modern take on album rock, the record is not so much a collection of songs as it is a complete piece of music combining acoustic and electric elements of progressive and folk rock and roll.
After playing hundreds of live shows around southern Alberta and western Canada, the album started as a 2 week side project in April of 2006 during a break from his previous band Red Rock Rebellion. Due to scheduling and personnel constraints, the album was written, recorded, and performed by Jon Martin and completed in September of 2008.
