No Man''s Land was formed in 1989 in Gibraltar by Mark Brooks and Tiery https://www.tradebit.comer numerous line up changes Steven Fernandez and Corey Alman were recruited making the band a solid professional unit.
In April 1993 n.m.l recorded their first demo with five tracks. The demo was distributed extensively throughout the Spanish music industry capturing the interest from indie record label BRA records.
In late 1993 N.M.L sign to Bra records for a five album deal. Early 1994 the band sets of to record their first album. This was recorded at VON’S studio London.
The album was produced by Alon Adiri producer for radio head, immediately after recording the album; the band starts a promotion tour supporting Saxon taking them all over Spain.
March 1994 the album is released in Spain the song lonely enters the top 10 cadena cien radio. Extensive promotion continues as the single receives further airplay in Spain, which leads to further touring with bands like Barricada and Yngwie Malmsteen.
After nearly a year of constant touring playing everywhere and anywhere, problems started to arise regarding the record label’s commitment ,the band are not happy with situation and decide to leave the label. And different members deciding to take different musical paths the band disbands.
2008 see’s the band reunite and decide to release this album “born lazy” it consists of 10 tracks recorded back in 1994 at Vons studios London it includes 5 tracks from the limited edition ep “five songs “ plus 5 other tracks never released. Also included are 6 live tracks recorded in Vitoria back in 1995 live raw and uncut plus two early in there career demo tracks this album states what n.m.l was about and still is “a rock band”.
