Nothing More Than This is an adrenaline rush of fresh Rock ‘N roll. The band strives to be in a new category of rock by mixing heavy riffs with powerful orchestral arrangements. Their sound is a direct expression of the many influences that they have. These influences include everything from heavy metal to jazz and big band orchestras. Nothing More Than This is on a mission to be a new breed of band that will bring back a more musical approach to heavy music.
The band was formed five years ago in the summer of 2003 when Mike Collingsworth and Nick Thompson met during high school band camp. Since then, the band has grown to include keyboardist, Tyler Dennis, and bassist, Chandler Mills. In five years, the band has recorded four albums, performed all across the Southeast, and has been recognized in many magazines and newspapers. For the recording of their fourth album, How Does It Feel?, which is due to be released in September of 2008, N.M.T.T. caught the attention of producer Edgel Groves. Groves recognized the band’s uniqueness, professionalism, and drive for success. He decided to produce the band and record at Real 2 Reel Studios in Atlanta during July 2008. Real 2 Reel is the home of bands such as Collective Soul, Kansas, and many other top recording artists. This new album has already gained much praise from a few industry insiders, including Matt Mayes from MBM Entertainment. With the release date of the new album just around the corner, N.M.T.T. is busy booking dates so that the whole world can come enjoy the magic.
