following the release of“free phil spector” the boys of hamburg ramones are back on the track with both new line up and some very catchy tunes. Founded in 2001 by ex-members of german punkrock legends rotzkotz and der moderne man we soon realised that it takes new ramones songs of solid gold to shake the tree. Hamburg ramones have just recorded with much effort 11 new songs written by us. Our second album is called "long black hair" and is released as of 15 september 2008. The new album will include the drumming skills of marky ramone, formerly known of rotzkotz and the honx fame. The album will definitively kick some ass. New songs include our fastest song to date "bÖmber in your heart", dedicated to lemmy, and, of course, the cryptic message of long black hair, which will be available as well on the forthcoming fuzztones sampler spawn ii. You’ll hear sing –a-long punkrock/powerpop remaining instantly in your mind. But you’ll hear more than 25 years of classical punk rock attitude each member of band still has.
