Half-Pint Jones set out to record their follow-up, to ''Trilogy of Patches and Olaf'', with a singular goal. To refine the compositions to the bare essentials. In other words, fine tune each song to be as direct as possible. Cut the fat, so to speak.
As a result, most songs have been trimmed to about 3-4 minutes, and the end result is something that the band is very excited about. ''Single File''.
With a background versed in many different styles of music, HPJ produced this new album to blend a multitude of colors and flavors, to achieve just the right balance of melody, harmony, rhythm, and space. A decision that paid off well, as each song has it''s own individual voice on the album.
