Since January of 2002, when charismatic troubadour Mica Johnson circulated a crudely recorded cassette of passionate tales of wanderlust and personal connection to a handful of musicians, Remedy Motel has established themselves as a touring force from San Diego to Virginia, with special emphasis on their former home base in the Rockies. U.S. Surfing Federation President Paul West has deemed Remedy Motel "the sound of the American surf culture," where they have played multiple sets at both the 2003 U.S. Surfing Championships and the 2003 East Coast Surfing Championships, and have been featured and performed on both Fox Sports Net''s top-rated show Fusion TV and FOX''s Good Morning Utah.
