William Hooper Coleman is an Australian Aboriginal man who grew up living in a mission located on the outskirts of a rural country town called Brewarrina in New South Wales, Australia. He began playing the guitar at the age of 14 and it has not left his side since then.
His music has strongly been influenced by the rock and roll era of the 1970''s and 1980''https://www.tradebit.comse were William''s teenage years. John Foggerty is his number one fan. William''s voice is very distinctive, with a deep timbre sound and striking Australian https://www.tradebit.com first single is called Peace For Us. The lyrics are written by Krissy Friend, his song writing partner.
William makes his living as a street busker in Sydney where he now lives. He plays his own music and prefers not to play covers.
When William is not busking in Sydney you can find him in the desert of Central Australia. As one of the legal custodians of the land, he finds peace and a spiritual reconnection during these times away from the busy city. His job is to relocate Aboriginal sacred objects and artifacts away from harm of the machines working to lay gas and oil pipelines.
