Namely under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit, she comes with many years of battlefield and kingdom based experience. A native Texan, she makes her home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with her loving family.

Her God-given inheritance, she is gifted with a unique anointing and peculiar style of her very own. Her riveting vocal command penetrates the hearts of listeners, exhorting them to a higher place of praise as she undeniably changes the atmosphere, ushering in the glorious presence of God.
From her very early childhood years, Ms. Tonya always maintained that someday she’d aspire to be a great “superstar.” Decades passed, and during a great period of trial and disappointment, this "Star” for the Lord, ultimately received her divine appointment to launch her gospel solo recording career. She has battled Hell itself following that call. Knowing, by faith and through God’s provision, she could accomplish His plan for her life, she decided to use her talents and resources to make a difference in this world, writing and singing of His goodness, creating a legacy that glorifies God and uplifts His people.
Though Ms. Tonya has been greatly influenced by and holds great respect and admiration for the legendary gospel greats, Yolanda Adams, Beverly Crawford, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong, she submits that her vocal prowess has utterly been birthed, developed, and refined through the many trials, triumphs, and tragedies of her life. She also exclaims, “Singing is my life! I wake up singing, I go to bed singing, I sing all day, everyday, anywhere and everywhere! How could one not perfect or succeed at what he or she is constantly practicing at?”
A woman with a reputation of great character and faith, Ms. Tonya stands strong in her beliefs, not wavering in the eye of adversities; she has been found to be always steadfast in her faith. Though she is many things to many people, it is evident that her commitment and devotion to God far exceeds her loyalties to man. She takes her divine appointment with the utmost sincerity. The core of her being focuses on helping others come to know Christ and His ability to work miracles in everyday life. Ms. Tonya believes the impossible for those who feel there is no hope for deliverance.
Throughout her debut CD, You‘re Not Alone, Ms. Tonya communicates how to trust God for deliverance in times of storm and dismay and encourages praise in spite of and in the midst of your circumstances. Her concept CD ministers comfort and healing and leads you to the One who holds all the right answers to all your “perceived” problems. Her desire is that listeners will know, trust, and have faith that no matter where life leads, “Someone somewhere is where you are; someone has been through what you’re going through, but most importantly, someone is there to see you through what you‘re going through; Jesus is that some one; being tempted on every side, He knows, He cares, and He’s willing, waiting, and well able to bring you out; you‘re not alone.”
A true servant of the Most High, Ms. Tonya shares her talents in ministry not only as a dynamic singer and psalmist, but also as a speaker, prayer intercessor and commentator in various Christian venues. Her desire to minister and meet the needs of the down trodden and the lost is a commission and charge she vows to keep. She will not be known as one who accumulated treasures on earth that could not be kept, but as one who invested treasures in heaven that could not be lost. Ms. Tonya maintains that only what you do for Christ will last, and only what you do for Christ matters.
