Melynnique Seabrook has charmed audiences all over the world with her rich, full voice and the loving touch or her musical artistry. While performing aboard a cruise ship in the Hawaiian Islands, she had a life-transforming mystical experience demonstrating the oneness of all life--that beyond all appearances, love is all there is.
After that she traveled to the Himalayas several times attempting to recapture the grandeur of her initial spiritual experience. She discovered that she didn''t really need to journey anywhere--that the Divine is readily accessible within our own hearts.
Melynnique was given the gift to compose music at the time of her awakening. Since that time she was inspired to write more than 600 soul-stirring songs that touch the heart and bring healing to the spirit. All of her songs were composed to assist us to focus on our own positive nature and unique beauty. It is through this special music and the heart-centered vibrational quality of Melynnique’s voice that the minds, hearts and souls of her world-wide audiences have been enriched and renewed.
"Awakening Light" was composed to enable the listener to open up to a sacred space inside, while appreciating the Divine Presence within the world, inspiring the listener to feel more devotion for the ever-present universal Spirit of God. Melynnique’s rich voice is accompanied by a 25-piece full orchestra in each song, except for cut #8, which is an solely instrumental. The over-all theme of this album is expansion of our own energy toward a newer, brighter day of the oneness of all beings. Each song contributes toward the goal of love being freedom, openness and unity. The orchestral backup sounds like Ralph Vaughn Williams with lush strings flowing through. The melodies are lovely and memorable, and the lyrics poetic and deeply feeling.

It is with great joy and love that I present my albums for sale to a broad audience. The purpose of these songs of to inspire and to bring universal love and healing through these lyrics and music. While I am more of a natural artist—not having extensive training in music or voice—what I do have comes out of the depths of me—of my search for God. That search led me all over the world until I came back to the understanding that the source of God is within me and is the origin of all these beautiful melodies. I feel that through this music you may be able to tap into your own source of beauty and love. I sincerely hope this music brings you the same healing that I experienced myself in composing and singing them!
