However, not even he could have imagined that this young woman would grow to have a voice that would bring many to their feet with applause, and echoes of praise and cheers! As a professional songstress and a lover of all music styles, Maxi is no stranger to great singing, songwriting, and producers. Her angelic harmonies ascend on high with effortless ease, and are both bone-chilling and powerful. Passionately exemplified with style and grace, her mood evoking melodies, smooth buttery tones, impeccable timing, and unpredictable phrasing, have moved her audiences to compare this young lady to legendary singers such as, PHYLLIS HYMAN, TEENA MARIE, WHITNEY HOUSTON and PATTI AUSTIN. The two bonded instantly, and thus began a 6 month journey to the completion of Maxi’s debut album “Soulful Integrity”. Spike rebel, the composer of all the album tunes, and Maxi, the singer/songwriter, set out to create an album that encompassed everyone’s musical tastes. “Soulful Integrity” is layered with soulful tunes like I’M READY, r&b flavored STAY FOR A WHILE, smooth jazz groovin’ 2 YEARS, with a special guest appearance by saxophone player Johnny “Mag” Sax, and most certainly some inspirational tunes like LIFT HIM UP! Though this is her first album, listeners will be compelled by her convicting lyrical content, and amazingly beautiful vocal styling’s that she laced on the microphone. This album is well worth the purchase and sharing with the world! This young lady is making waves in the vast ocean known as the music business.
