Alexander (Sasha) Mikhaylovsky was born in Odessa, Ukraine (The former Soviet Union). At the age 4, he started to learn violin withhis first violin professor Bella Barsky. He graduated music school with golden medal and went to the Odessa music college. 4 years of solo, ansamble and orchestral competitions. Received a Bachelors Degree in Music, then attended the Univesity of Music and Pedagogy in Ulianovsk, Russia for 5 years, where he achieved a Master''s Degree in Music in 1990.
He has played with various groups including:
The Miami Symphony Orchestra, Latin-American Chamber Orchestra, Florida Grand Opera and more.
He has woked in a capacity of Orchestra Director with County Schools, Miami Beach Academy of Performing Arts, Florida Musc Education Centers and some of the private academies.
