With the release of their debut album “Time Travel” The Mighty Moonfrogs complete one journey and begin another. In 2005 Clint Martin and William Walker thought it would be fun to reunite a former band from the 80’s. The plan was to write some songs, see some old friends, and eventually go into a studio and record whatever came of it. That same year some old hero’s also reunited….Cream. After watching their DVD from the Royal Albert Hall Clint and William began to wonder what playing live would be like, and sound like. Agreeing to take it slow and keep it fun Songwriting and rehearsals began in 2006 with old drummer Danny Watson. Keeping their word the months rolled by and soon it was 2007. Perry Goines another friend from the past started playing drums occasionally with The Mighty Moonfrogs. Perry also played in a band with Clint in the early eighties so another mini reunion came from the project. Basic tracks were recorded in September and October of 2007 with Perry handling most of the drums. Slowly but surely work was getting done and by the summer of 2008 only the final drum tracks remained. Easy Barber and Randy Treadway were asked to help complete the project and in short order the album was complete. Now after several reunions and many false starts a new band emerges. The Mighty Moonfrogs are ready for the stage….
