"I thought it was time for some blues again. This time with the blues veteran Brian Kramer, who have recently released the album “Live at Club Stampen” under the name Brian Kramer & the Nights of Blu-topia. Brian invites us to an intimate and soulful performance in the company of great musicians like Mats Qwarfordt, “Iron Hand” Mike Haglund, Marcelo Nunez and Peter Freij.
It’s a wonderful collection of songs that Brian presents here. I find a nice earthy, positive (can I say that?) blues, together with folk music and bluegrass, which makes my feet move, and also nice bluesy singer/songwriter tunes. Good music, of course, always comes from within, but somewhere I feel that the blues lies as close as you can get to the soul. And judging from what I hear it would be real nice to meet a person like Brian Kramer."

“To make it simple – the album is smokin’ hot!
This is what I call a fabulous album. For those who think that you can’t be creative while playing acoustic blues, “Live At Club Stampen” is proof of how wrong they are. Great stuff!

“The Brian Kramer Blues Jams at the Stampen Pub in the old town of Stockholm, every Saturday at 2 pm, is the only place to be on a Saturday afternoon. Brian''s the numero-uno defender of live music in Stockholm and deserves all the cred he can get.
Brian''s got a big heart and he''s vital and essential to the Stockholm music scene.
The new album; Live at Club Stampen, sees Brian''s Sat Blues Jam Band (beefed with incredible guitarist Chuck Anthony and mando-player Bert Deivert) run thru a number of songs we''ve learned to appreciate.
It captures the essence of Brian Kramer, the core of his greatness. Being a live-CD and knowing everything kicks louder and livelier live than studio, this is a well-working poster of the greatness of Brian.
The CD offers a number of great songs that works well on the stereo, but will more or less kick your ass live. Brian is a Live-artist. And this is an advertisement that will see people cueing up outside Stampen on Saturday afternoons and Blue Monday evenings.
I enjoy the CD, It''s been spinning for a week and I haven''t grown tired of it. Au contraire – it makes me wish for another Stampen Saturday.
Brian''s got his mojo working solid.”

"I love the record. It''s your best one,
there''s a poetry to it.
I listened to it three times and that''s allot for me!"
