Eric Thomarat''s grown in Guadeloupe(FWI)where so many different musics went across his ears. He studied Music in Nantes West of France Conservatoire. While he had to become an opera singer ; during his military french duty year he travelled a lot singing as a tenor in the French Army Choir. Then travelled through Madagascar, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago. He was back to west indies where he had time to play music with bests musicians and bands like the very famous "Desperados Steel Drums Orchestra",the great trinidadian jazz man Mr Michael Boothman,Jocelyn Menard,Norman Deveau,Charly Chomereau Lamotte and Raymond Grego,greats FWI musicians. He also sang on same stages than greatest Trini calypsonians like Singing Sandra. There, he became "The" multistyle singer. Six years ago,he was back to France,where he decided to create ; his first label named Ricothom has produced this album of Ricounet "Chansonnettes pas trop nettes" inspired from his long trips around the world, a creative and surprising way to do ; more over there is an artistic booklet inside a lot in harmony with Ricounet''s world.
