Biography
One of the most dynamic, entertaining vocalists on the jazz scene today, Donna Bailey creates a sophisticated, “coolness” to jazz standards, as well as with her own compositions.
Nelson Harrison, former trumpeter with the Count Basie Orchestra says, “Donna combines her sultry-rich vocals, energy, quick wit, and friendly, down-to-earth audience interactions as she captivates them with her lyrical interpretations. She takes charge of the room when she steps on stage!”
Her performances include dinner shows and concerts in national and regional venues including New York, Louisville, Chicago, The Hilton Head, and Manchester Craftsman’s Guild in Pittsburgh.
Donna was recently invited to perform for the legendary Dave Brubeck, in honor of his 86th birthday at The Manchester Craftsman’s Guild.
