Details:
Rich Stanley has entertained in fine hotels and clubs in
Boston,New York,San Diego,Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz, and for
our Armed Forces in Greenland, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia
and Southern California. Before forming his own band, he
played with and arranged for numerous bands from Boston to the West Coast.
Rich studied Trumpet with Del Staigers, Hollywood, Cal.,and
majored in Trumpet at Juilliard Schl of Music, NYC, 3 yrs.
While at Juilliard he composed and recorded "Aquamarine", a
Suite for Strings and Harp, played with bands in the NYC area and studied Trumpet with Don Reinhardt.
His numerous compositions range from light classic piano
pieces, to swinging, creative, arrangements for quintettes
to Big Band, as well as moody romantic ballards.
Welcome to the Creative Artistry of Rich Stanley whose
vocal, trumpet, piano talents and band are featured on this CD. Eight of the nine songs are his originals, and
all are his arrangements.
