Bonnie Bramlett started here career when she was just 14. She started singing on Gaslight Square, a St. Louis nightclub area. She learned from the best, gaining a very strong musical foundation. Her love of rhythm and blues got the attention of Albert King and Little Milton. At the age of 16, she became the first and only white “Ikette” with Ike and Tina Turner.

As her career expanded, she moved to Los Angeles, in 1967, where she met her soon to be husband, Delaney Bramlett. They formed a band named Delaney & Bonnie & Friends. The group released 5 amazing albums; the first being Delaney & Bonnie - Home on Stax Records. Her song Superstar (co-written with Leon Russell) was nominated for a Grammy in 1972. Later that same year, Delaney and Bonnie fell apart both professionally and personally.

Bonnie released her first solo album, backed by The Average White Band, in 1973 for Epic Records. She then moved to Georgia, signed with Capricorn Records and released albums in 1974, 1976, and 1978. Bonnie also became the number one backup singer on various artists albums released by Capricorn. Later she was invited to tour with the Allman Brothers Band and became known as the first Allman Sister.

In the 1980s Bonnie returned to Los Angeles and eventually remarried in 1988. She landed a guest role on the T.V. show Fame, and also a role in The Doors movies alongside Val Kilmer, Meg Ryan, and Billy Idol. Roseanne Barr asked Bonnie to join her on her TV show, Roseanne as her co-worker “Bonnie Watkins”, a role she performed for two and a half seasons.

When her 2nd marriage ended, Bonnie moved to Idaho to collect herself. 1999 came around and she was on her way to Nashville. She signed with Corlew Music Group and Blue Hat Records in 2001. In 2005 she signed with ZoHo Records, releasing the album ROOTS, BLUES, and JAZZ in 2006.

Rockin Camel Music signed Bonnie in 2007 where she teamed up with Johnny Sandlin, legendary producer and engineer, to release this album Beautiful.
