Ric Pattison is from Stafford England. He has made his home in Florida for the past sixteen years. Along with starting and hosting Palm Beaches top rated open mic night (City Link), Ric has performed at various festivals including an appearance at the Kravis Center. Ric has also recorded an all acoustic CD titled EDEN and has recorded and produced several CD''s under the Inner Calm label. In addition to his solo recording projects Ric has recorded with Rod Macdonald, The Upper Lips and several singer-song writers in south Florida including The Phat Morphed.
Beautiful World is the first time Ric collaborated with another songwriter. Ric met Dave McAndrew at an open mic night in Boynton Beach Florida. At this meeting they discovered they had similar tastes in music. Shortly after this meeting they started writing Beautiful World.
Beautiful World was recorded at AMS studios in the summer of 2001. Beautiful World then took a back seat to new projects that Ric was and has been working on. In early December Dave McAndrew,with Ric''s approval put the final touches on the project.
Ric Pattison is at work on his third CD. Dave McAndrew is busy making a joyous noise in a small studio at night. Dave McAndrew is also arranging, writing and producing a CD for the humorous "flunk rock" band THE NIPPLE TREE. Both Ric and Dave have been planning and writing a CD under a yet unknown name, that they hope to release by the fall of 2005. Along with his solo projects and writing with Dave McAndrew, Ric Pattison continues to perform in south Florida and still host the open mic night in Lake Worth Florida.
