Recorded in my apartment in La Crosse, WI from 2007-2008.
This is the second album released by Joshua Franke making a conscious effort to create an album attempting to bring the 60s sound and gel it with a modern twist. The songs are full of harmonies and experimental sounds with a constant beat to keep the ball rolling. Every song is based off the acoustic guitar but you often lose sight of this because of the intricate formula each song embraces. The unorthodox yet significant lyrics are worthy of thought and interpretation to the listener.
