An exceptional Songwriter, guitarist, musician Robert Couch brings together his bluegrass background, with blues tunes and country to delight you in "WINTER MOON" Each song on the CD has a story starting with-WINTER MOON- This song was written when the love of my life and wife of two years, Carla Boggs Couch, died from an aneurism at age 21. It was written while walking through the Kentucky woods on a crisp winter night with a full moon, blowing breezes, leaves rustling-just praying to our Heavenly Father-with tears in my heart and eyes...asking WHY? You know a lot of people say you should never ask our Father why, but King David did---should there be any difference in our relationship with him?
We should all be as close as David was. I pray for that closeness and that I will see Carla again. And so...Carla Boggs Couch, by the Sprit and Grace of our Father in Heaven, this Winter Moon CD is dedicated in loving memories of you.

GOD LOOKS ON THE HEART- This song really touched by spirit and the message was deeply embedded into my heart when my very close and dear friend, David Robertson of East West Recording Studio, Lockhart Alabama first sang it to me. I knew from that moment on by the nudge of the Holy Spirit that I would one day record the message of this song and be able to share with others what it has done for me. I pray the Rauch ha Qodesh will touch your heart, carry you and minister to you as his message has to me. Thanks David from the bottom of my heart for just being you; you are like the brother I never had.

LIKE A NORMAN ROCKWELL PAINTING (The HOLLEY SONG)- The red haired Irish Lady, wonder of my life, Lizzy and I wrote this song while out on one of our ministry trips. I had this idea lying around in my head for many years and just could not finish it. I guess it is called writer''s block or brain freeze. The church that Lizzy and I attend is actually a replica of this message. It is more modern now, but we visualized the way it used to be in its younger years in Holley, Florida. This is the type of country church I grew up in where my grandfather preached most of his life. I thank you, PaPa Crussie Collins for the seed you planted in my heart and thank you my family at Holley Assembly of God.

LOST N'' FOUND- This message is a simple one freely given to me by the spirit that I freely pass on to anyone who will accept it. You really don''t find the Savior, he finds you. When you''re looking up at the bottom, just look UP, for even if at the brightest time of day, if you go down in a well, just look up and you can still see the stars!

CHANCES- This song is for all the people who know better and have been given chance after chance after chance by the Father. Time and time again, still refusing, knowing the truth about themselves, yet never changing and turning to that truth, they take chances. Some out there even like me, have actually seen death or have had such a close encounter with death and still refuse to change. This song is for you. If you are still listening, the Father is giving you another chance NOW! Thank you again David for writing such a splendid song.

BROKEN BREAD- I have an eighteen year old son Matthew (Levi) that in no way is this his kind of music, yet out of all the songs on this CD he chose this one as his favorite. The WORD quickens. If you''ve ever been at this point in your life, there is hope beyond all understanding. I would like to dedicate this song to all of the people in prison that this message has touched; to my son Matthew- I pray angels around you and divine protection; and to my good friend Forrest-He''ll know!

RULE # ONE- This is a true story about a young girl in Florala, Alabama who lived through the message of this song. Her wish is that young girls would hear this and not listen to the world''s ways, but to our Father''s wisdom. Surly the choices in life are freely given to us and are to be made in wisdom and not in haste by our feelings. There are consequences to our decisions.

LIFE''S SHADOWS- This song is and was given to me about my oldest son Jordan. Jordan, I love you dearly. As you walk through life, there will be shadows that are cast upon you. When Peter''s shadow fell upon a man in the street, he was instantly healed. Shadows can be hard and cold or full of life. The decision is yours. The shadow of the Almighty followed Israel by day for divine protection. However, Israel kept making wrong decisions and ended up wandering in the wilderness for forty years. Don''t keep dodging the shadows of healing until it is withdrawn from you.

GIVE PRAISE TO THE LORD- I love blu''zie tunes yet it seems that bluegrass melodies are at the roots and extend out into my music. Maybe it is because I''ve always been around it growing up in Eastern Kentucky. I wouldn''t change one thing about my childhood-not one thing. I can look back through the pages of my mind and see all the great bluegrass pickers of our time bringing it to life for the world to hear. Than you, Hazard, Kentucky for this man''s wonderful childhood and his dreams

HALLELU-YAH ADONIYAH- This is beyond any shadow of a doubt, my out and outright praise to my Heavenly Father. This came to me through out loud worship in the wee hours of the night and early morning, walking and praying to the Father for wisdom and forgiveness of sin. This is the prayer given to me and from this has come many blessings. Thank you, Father
