Details:
Composing, performing, singing, producing and arranging music, has been a huge part of my life since the age of 7.
Studying the "Classics" as well as POPULAR, JAZZ, RHYTHM & BLUES and GOSPEL styles has given me an appreciation for all the above. Through the 1960s, I was the organist/pianist & choir director at local churches in the TRI-STATE AREA OF NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY & CONNECTICUT. I also performed with local bands and branched out into the secular field of music most notably with a popular Disco group called "ECSTASY, PASSION & PAIN" in the 70s. We toured the world behind top 10 billboard hits such as "I WOULDN''T GIVE YOU UP," "GOOD THINGS DON''T LAST FOREVER" and "ASK ME." We performed on stages in NEW YORK CITY at the APOLLO, MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, FELT FORUM. We also did T.V. dance shows such as "SOUL TRAIN," "GENE WOODS" and "MIKE DOUGLAS SHOW," both out of PHILADELPHIA. After touring SOUTH AFRICA with "THE DRIFTERS" we also did cumulative shows with "EARTH, WIND & FIRE," "KOOL & THE GANG," "SPINNERS," "JAMES BROWN," "IKE & TINA TURNER," "O''JAYS," "BLUE MAGIC," "STYLISTICS," "JONESES" and many other popular groups of that https://www.tradebit.com 1978 I was appointed VICE-PRESIDENT OF DEBBIE RECORDS located 132 1/2 VREELAND AVE. IN PATERSON, NEW JERSEY. Samuel Robinson was the PRESIDENT OF THIS SMALL INDEPENDENT https://www.tradebit.com recorded Lee McDonald on an ALBUM entitled "SWEET MAGIC" which was not released until 1981 on the same label. I was then appointed PRESIDENT/CEO of TRACE BACK PUBLISHING in 1981. This company was then owned by Samuel Robinson. TRACE BACK was the publishing arm of our label DEBBIE RECORDS.

I had already established my own publishing company in 1980 RON FOSTER PUBLISHING and also my own Recording/Production company known as RONFO MUSIC & ART. My work is involved with helping local bands and singers record and assisting them with arranging and producing on their own projects. The Art part of my company is artwork for children, BOOKS, INVENTIONS, GAMES that deal with inspirational and humanitarian themes. The thing most taught and learned by me through my musical journey is that, "Success in any career is not just learning information and skills of a given profession but one has to be able to support others and try to understand the people that one is working with. My mother taught me to always respect others and to make sure that I make an honest attempt at seeing things through the eyes of others even though I may have a different opinion or did not agree. She told me to keep God as the Head of my life and always place Him at the Root of all my business and personal dealings. I''ve put together a few CDs that express some of that Love and inspiration that I''ve been talking about. The theme of most of the songs is "PEACE and UNITY." I''ve tried to use all the Gifts that God has placed in my hands by doing this kind of project. My hope is that you will be blessed by listening and enjoying it as much as I did by doing it.
