Russian Roulette was formed in Decatur, Illinois in early 1981 by Lead Vocalist Steve Revis and bassist Danny Riley.
The band has performed continuously with altered lineups ever since, and is still performing today.
The original Illinois Roulette lineup suffered a staggering loss in the late summer of 2004, when Guitarist Tracy Thompson passed away at the young age of 41. He was replaced by guitarist Tim Revis.
Original lead guitarist / songwriter Mike McKinney is still with the group, and still writing material with original vocalist Steve Revis.
The lineup that recorded the first two Russian Roulette albums is: Steve Revis - vocals, Mike McKinney - Guitars, Scott Spears - Drums, Robbie Campbell - bass.
A new Roulette album is in production for spring 2005.
