Since childhood Scott Dawson has dreamed of being a singer/songwriter. As an anesthetist in Cincinnati, Ohio, Scott is as conscientious about his songwriting as he is about his profession. Major influences such as Paul McCartney, Burt Bacharach, Brian Wilson, Paul Overstreet, Alan Jackson and Buck Owens give this country album a unique blend of sophistication and twang. Songs that tell the stories of a boy and his dying grandma, a husband''s prayer to be the man he promised to be, a spunky ultimatum from a desperate lover, and more truly original songs to make you smile and sing along.
Last August, "Dedicated Man" was released to 14 European nations on the Comstock Records label. Scott was very excited to bring his music to Europe where many honest country music fans reside. His CD received generous airplay and even reached the top 20 most played lists in some countries.
