Scream Sophie originated as a recording project late in 1999 when guitarist and songwriter Curt Granger began writing and recording new material. Shortly after beginning the project he enlisted the help of drummer, and recently turned-vocalist/guitarist Timmi ''G'' Ward. The two forged a strong songwriting alliance and the Scream Sophie machine was born.
"Offerings" is a great collection of modern alternative rock tracks that yank on your emotions like a pit bull on steroids. Heaviness of a diesel locomotive with the melodic sense of Beethoven, Ray Charles, and Sid Vicious all rolled into one. Great feel good hard rock except for a few tracks that make you want to hide in a corner and cry. But hey, that''s the way we all feel sometimes, right?
