Marilynn Seits is a composer and pianist originally from New York City. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in music, she has been composing, recording and performing professionally for over thirty years, mostly in Jazz and New Age music. Her avid interest and study in the Eastern healing arts began with her first Yoga lesson back in 1970. She has since travelled extensively in China and the Orient, studying Tai Chi, Qigong and hands-on healing. Her interest in alternative healing methods inspired her to compose nine albums of positive healing music, including Violet Light. She currently lives with her golden Retriever, Phoenix in West Palm Beach, Florida.
