Put God First Ministry
The mission of Put God First Ministry (PGF) is to reach out to the lost souls of this world, by ministering to them with the talents and gifts God has blessed us with songwriting, singing and poetry. At PGF Ministry we are dedicated towards touching the lives of hurting children, broken hearted individuals who feel they have no recourse and those who are in relationships and marriages that are wrecked with havoc. PGF wants to be a vital force in helping God Almighty tear down the walls of racism, prejudice attitudes, hatred, loveless-ness, broken dreams, low self-esteem, lack of self worth and all the negativisms the enemy (Satan) has designed for mankind to fall. Our aim is to put God first in all we set our hands to; so we can be a blessing to all people.

Alesha (Shay) Palmer began singing at the age of five when her Aunt Rose discovered that the young and obviously talented Alesha could hold more than just a note. Her Aunt and other family members would often bribe here with monetary rewards to sing at family gatherings just to get a chance to hear her beautiful voice.
That was just the beginning of Alesha''s musical quest. Alesha''s mother Alice, not long after she discovered her ability to sing and actually began to love it, met and married ex-football player Billy Mackey; who just so happened to also be a very gifted and talented singer himself. Alesha''s stepfather and his three brothers formed an Acappella group called the Mackey Singers. The young promising singer was quite fascinated with the group''s harmony. She enjoyed their styles of singing so much that she asked her step dad to teach her to sing the way they did.
Shortly after the union of Shay''s Mother and Stepfather, the two decided they wanted to have a home built on a Holy foundation and a family that was governed by Almighty God. The family joined Temple of Compassion COGIC, under the leadership of the late Ted Johnson, and Alesha joined the choir. Her former pastor taught her how to lead songs. He worked diligently with her and was a vital source of encouragement and confidence in the young singers'' life.
Over the years Alesha face many ups and down in the music business struggling to get the right opportunity She even strayed from her foundation, singing for the Lord; but thank to a praying mother who always told here that her voice was for the Lord, Shay came back to her Heavenly Father and is dedicated toward reaching out to the lost souls of this world.
