Album began as a project two years ago. It is a compilation of the best tracks to come out of Beneath the Underdog''s studio over that period.
Shotglass started primarily as a studio headed by Dan Arnold (guitar, production, writer) Graham Brown on Bass, and Dan Brown (beats).
We used the best local session talent for the vocals:
Katie Faux (23) has her own band ''Faux''
Jill Lucas (23) spent two years at music college singing for several bands.
Lucy Hunter (24) has just come back from teaching in Korea.
Dave Migden (33) heads acid Jazz outfit ''Hushpakina'' and has also recently been singing with Jamie Cullum''s band.
Dan Brown has branched out into management and Web design - recently starting up his own design firm Digital Vanilla.
Graham Brown currently plays for Hushpakina and Honeyriders. Honeyriders have just signed a deal with Decca.
Dan Arnold is now working with Guy Brazil on an Urban RnB album, and has also recently sessioned on Liana McCarthy''s ''What Can You Do for Me?'' (to be released in January ''05. Beneath the Underdog have just splashed out on a studio refit and new tunes are already on their way.
