Herbert Silverstein is not only a dedicated physician, researcher, professor and philanthropist - he is also an accomplished musician. Fascinated by the complicated rhythms of the jazz idiom, Dr. Silverstein has been challenged to perform the music he so enjoyed while growing up. Not only has he learned to interpret the jazz classics, he has succeeded in composing many exciting jazz pieces. He has just completed the recording of his eighth jazz CD.
