At the end of a performance one night in Frederick, Maryland, a couple said that coastal Maine was a place they''d always wanted to visit but been unable to. They remarked after listening that my songs gave them a sense of having been there. I''ve always treasured that comment. I''ve lived in Stonington, Maine most of my life and made a living from the sea as a lobsterman as well as playing music all over the country. It was nice to know that I''d been able to capture a piece of the home I love and pass it on to a listener.
