In 1982 Suzanne Doucet & Christian Buehner started creating instrumental music for the purpose of relaxation, healing and meditation. Suzanne had previously recorded an experimental soundcollage tripple Album, which was released in 1970 on Phillips. The Title was TRIP, FLIP OUT, MEDITATION (It became a legendary psychedelic experimental krautrock classic). In 1980 Suzanne and Christian Buehner collaborated in the production of two guided meditation albums DIE WIESE - DER BAUM and KOERPER & CHAKREN MEDITATION for Thorwald Detlefsen and his Institute for Esoteric Psychology in Munich.
Then they recorded their first instrumental music only album TRANSFORMATION in 1982 and TRANSMISSION in the spring of 1983. Suzanne had founded her own record label ISIS MUSIC in 1980 and moved to California in 1983. Both albums Transformation and Transmission are considered Classics of the New Age genre. Music from TRANSMISSION was also used in the award winning video STARFLIGHT.

Together with her husband James Bell, Suzanne owned and operated the world-famous specialized audio gallery “Only New Age Music” in Hollywood, California.

Suzanne founded the International New Age Music Network and produced and directed three International Conferences and the first New Age/World Music Festival at the Wiltern Theater (featuring artists such as Paul Horn, Steven Halpern, Tim Wheater, Jai Uttal a.o.).
Life Magazine began their report on New Age Music with a quote from Suzanne, while specialized Keyboard Magazine acknowledged Suzanne for having “the most authoritative view on New Age Music,” and the LA Times devoted a full page article to Suzanne in their Sunday Calendar section. International Magazines and TV production companies have interviewed her for their publications in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Greece, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.
Suzanne is the longest serving member of the annual Screening Committee of the New Age Category for NARAS™ (Grammy Awards), helping to define the guidelines for New Age Music since 1987. Suzanne was part of the Presidential/Key Executive MBA Program at Pepperdine University, where she studied business administration. Suzanne studied at the Institute for Esoteric Psychology, as well as Composition at the Munich State Conservatory.
Christian Buehner was working for the Bavarian Radio since he was a teenager. He also became a pop singer and had a hit record with the German version of Saturday Night Fever. He started sound recording & sound design at the age of 14. Christian recorded and mastered many projects in his own studio which is now in Teneriffe /Spain.
