So... You really want the long nasty story of us huh? Well... I suppose it''s about time I do this.

Once upon a time there was a beginning to Silent Glory, it was called Desus. Desus consisted of Dustin, Kyle, and Matt. At the time no one knew that Will existed, and Darren was off doing God knows what because he didn''t want to put the time and effort in to another band after his and Dustin''s last band [24 hour refill] broke up. Now, Kyle and Matt had been playing in bands together for years, their last one was Hollow Frames. Nothing real serious, but they at least knew how to play their instruments.... sum what. So, what do ya know, Dustin, Kyle, and Matt met at youth group... GO FIGURE! 24 hour refill [Dustin and Darren''s last band] was a hardcore Christian rock band, so the three guys decided that Desus was going to be a Christian band. Somehow Matt had a strange idea of putting Jesus and December together and yea... ... ... ok.

The three guys practiced vigurously in to the night and decided that they could be a band. So they played in the basement a lot, and played in the basement some more, and at the time Dustin was beginning his audio engineering classes, so Desus recorded their first demo, I think there may be like 3 copies in existance... So then a guitarist named Jerry came along. He was a friend of Kyle and Matt''s from school. By this time, the 4 guys were ready for a change, and with the miraculous powers of the porcelien God, Kyle came up with the name Quite Glory... ... ... that sucked, so ah hah! Silent Glory. Not bad. They all decided that Silent Glory was going to be a crossover band, which is a Christian band sort of in desguise. Kyle''s older brother Travis Gambrel, began managing the band, and they only got a chance to play one show before Travis left for Seattle, Washington. While he was gone, the 4 guys didn''t really do much, but practice, and record another https://www.tradebit.comer that they actually managed to go back to a three piece. Jerry left the band for personal reasons.

So the three gents moved on. They managed to get their second show in 6 months! It was at Kyle and Matt''s high school, where Silent Glory debuted Barely Breathing. It was a hit, everyone loved it, especially an underclassmen named Joe Mirabeli. Joe was a joyful young lad that lived for music, and he jumped on the opportunity and ask to manage the band. At this point in time, Dustin was also beginning to convince his younger brother Darren that the band really needed him. Darren''s concern was what instrument to play. The guys wanted him to play keyboards, but Darren was all tired out with the keyboards. So he figured hey... why don''t I learn guitar for this band? It shouldn''t take long to learn the basics he thought. So Joe and Darren came to watch the band practice on the same day. From there everything seemed just right. This is when Silent Glory really began to take shape. Darren began playing shows with Silent Glory just 2 months after deciding to learn guitar. Joe had shows popping up left and right, and a new 3 song demo was recorded and released in about a month. Things were looking great! In a matter of maybe 3 months from meeting Joe, Dustin had written about 7 new songs for Silent Glory. The summer of 2004 was full of shows and in July, the recording began on their first full length album. This was just 5 months after meeting Joe. Travis came back from Seattle midsummer and began helping with the band again.

After a long summer of shows and recording, Dustin decided that he didn''t want to play bass and sing anymore. He thought that it was time to find a bass player. So word got out pretty fast. One August night Dustin, Darren and Joe were at the local pool hall shootin some make and what not when this kid that looked like Jesus came up to them and said... "hey, i heard you guys are looking for a bass player"... they humored him and said, " yea". So this Jesus looking kid said, "Well.... uh, I play bass!" twirling his fingers through his long scruffy beard. The response was something like "oh ok". The three of them really blew the little Jesus looking kid off. Well, after a few more nights of this kid, who later became known as Will, pestering the make out of Silent Glory, they figured, ok why not let him tryout. After Dustin heard him play a few phat riffs, and slap the willies out of that bass, he was set. Will learned Dejavu in about a week and performed it with the band at Screamfest in September of 2004. At this time, Joe and Travis had become a pretty good team. The next three months were about getting more organized and getting ready to release this CD.

Silent Glory''s CD ''based on a true story'' was finished completely by November and the designs were set by December and after the mass production was complete it was January of 2005 when it was released. YAY!!! This was for all 5 members their first full length CD. Ever since, the band plays about 3 to 4 shows a month and is really going strong, Recording begins again this spring. And the summer is hopefully looking like a tour. The band really came together when Will came along. Out of the five of them, each one has their place and their part in Silent Glory, who knows what the five of them and the 2 managers can do... ... ... maybe even change the course of history...
