The "Inspirational" Sexyrubbersoul (Wave magazine, Brighton, Chris Liberator NME) has worked with two of the finest techno producers (Dave the Drummer and Guy McAffer) to produce an uplifting earthy crossover of New Age and Dance music from the London Underground scene.
Honouring the incredible unifying power of Dance music, and the gift of community enrichment it can offer, Feast Of Salt is named after a major women''s festival in ancient Mali celebrating salt as a source of sustenance and preservation. Tracks from this album got fab reviews by Jockey slut and NME, can be found used by Kris Deva North at the Healing Tao centre in London, and also as part of the worldwide NIA technique of esoteric movement (alongside Gabriel Roth, and Banco de Gaia).
Additionally "Soul Soup" was released on Worm Interface in 1998, and "Occipital Groove" was a chillout hit and can be found on compilations by the likes of Michael Dog.
Feast of Salt is the result of 14 years spinning drum and bass on the underground DIY and queer scenes both in London and Europe, and 12 years studying and teaching meditation and journey work from various crosscultural traditions.
