What people are saying:

~~~~~~ SEXY ....
~~~~~~ Mara Hitner - Music Connection Magazine
"A rockin'' band led by a sexy man. What''s not to love?"

~~~~~~ HIDDEN JEWEL OF THE JUNGLE
~~~~~~ Alex Peralta from Tampa, FL
"To me Silver Atlas sounds like Robert Plant and Brian Ferry from Roxy Music combined and updated for this age. I
Have gone addictive and obssesive with music in the never ending quest for fresh new sounds ... and this has been one of the best bands. Sometimes I dream to be a promoter to back bands like this. Highly recommended, good quality stuff. My favorites: Silhouette, No Distance Can Hold, Third and Hell."

~~~~~~ THE FULL ENCHILADA COMBO PLATTER
~~~~~~ Les Wiseman, Canada Wide Magazines
"Indeed what we have here is a musical amalgam that brings
together the sort of progressive emo of Coldplay and the electronic experimentation of Beck combined with the quiet storm soul of the Detroit scene. It''s dark, moody stuff swirling around fragmentary lyrics of turmoil and interpersonal relationships. As an album, it rewards repeated listenings for its complex arrangements, swirling backgrounds and ethereal, soaring melody lines."

~~~~~~ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
~~~~~~ mschrager from Chicago, IL
"A friend loaned me this CD insisting I give it a listen. I decided to give it a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Though I don''t think "acoustic downtempo" is really the right description - I hesitate to peg this sound into just one genre since it impressively mixes many. Al Ruffin''s melodic vocals are excellent and of great range. The various sounds in the background by Mr. Lichon and additional musicians rival some of the top bands of today and complement each other excellently. To use an industry term this band is "tight" and they definitely have their act and sound together. If you are at all a fan of music, whatever the genre, I hope your interest will be piqued enough to give 4 a.m. a listen. In particular I must recommend No Distance Can Hold and Memorial, which I just can''t get seem to get out of my head."
