Bio On Albert Flores
Bass Player for The Six Million Dollar Band
Albert has been playing bass for over 14 years, and has had the good fortune to train with such industry greats as Skip Battin of The Byrds, Gary Fontaine of Nu Shooz and Melvin of the Dan Reed Network.
Albert has also worked with and recorded albums for Rick Caliar (El Debarge of Motown Records) and joined Rick in the Gospel Choir Band at Newsong Church.
When Albert’s not spending time with his wife and daughter, he can be found rehearsing, playing the Portland club scene and sampling local microbrews.
Bio On Andy McEwan
Lead Vocals & Percussion for The Six Million Dollar Band
Born in a mountain village in Wales to a musical family; his Nan still sings in a choir, his mum was in a choir and his uncle conducted the orchestra at the Olympics in Australia.
Andy played trumpet for years as a child and was in many junior orchestras and groups. He played and acted in the theatre and at pantomimes. Andy left for London when he was 15 years old and shared an apartment with jazz sax players. He joined a Ska Band called Eskalator and they had a hit song that reached number 7 in the British charts. Andy was a trumpet session player also and played on the same bills with industry greats such as: The Specials, The English Beat, The Jam and The Damned.
Andy then retired for some years until he moved to Miami, Florida and started out playing for fun with a band he named So What. He then formed The Young Ones and took things seriously playing gigs and touring in over 1200 shows.
Andy left Miami in June 2002 to start a band with new direction and appeal in what he considers to be the most artistically gifted city in the US; Portland, Oregon.

Bio On Doug Fox
Guitar & Vocals for The Six Million Dollar Band
The day is October 4th 1966 and Douglas Owen Fox is ready to see the world. Twenty minutes after his identical twin brother he enters a place called Jewett City, CT. This is the lovely place where he will grow and share with his mother, father and two brothers. Shy, sweet and unassuming, Doug shows his determination through skateboarding competitions, golf and baseball. Doug’s mother refuses to attend little league games when faced with the embarrassing displays of poor sportsmanship, such as throwing himself on the field yelling and screaming.
He then takes to music and begins to learn guitar and bass playing. At the age of seventeen Doug decides to retire from Griswold High to pursue a career as a bass player in Florida. After that he goes traveling and then decides to join the army. Doug served in the Gulf War. While there he sharpens his skills as a guitarist. He then returns to his station in Ft. Lewis where he meets Mona, his now wife of three years. They travel together through the NW and settle in Portland, Oregon where they bought a home and have a three and a half year old son Cameron and a new baby Preston Andrew born January 2nd, 2003.
