This homemade lofi rock CD has a cool laid back vibe with a variety of acoustic, electric and experimental sounding songs that continue in the SDL tradition of unique and interesting chord arrangements and wide ranging lyrical subject matter. Nude''s subject matter is more introspective than the previous Sleeping Dogs LIe cds.

The painting on the cd is from a true story... my friend was with her mother-in-law on Jupiter Beach one afternoon and could not find an open restroom... No one was around, so mother-in-law just drops her pants and craps on the pristine white beach sand. My friend stood there stunned and red-faced. Little did she realize that it would be the inspiration for Nude.
Nude has a bit of a Lou Reed vocal feel, Beck oddity, Nirvana musicality, Brian Eno silence, David Bowie separation, Primus lyricalness with a Violent Femmes feel?
