This CD is electronic in that the pulses/rhythms are created by electronic sources;drum machine, digital loops, synthesizer arpeggios and pulsations. Some acoustic and acoustic electric elements were also employed. Lead voices include; processed electric guitar, theremin, electric sitar, and keyboard sounds.
This record was recorded and released in 2000.I previously released a 5 song EP 45 on vinyl in 198l titled "Voice of the Planet." It was on BIZART RECORDS and was released under the artist name "Smiley." This name was used in the early l980''s by a Disco singer. I have used the name Smiling Eye since then, but have not released anything but hand circulated cassettes. My Follow-up release was released this year. It is titled "Rhapsody in Green." This group of compositions was recorded in l990. The compositions are keyboard/sequencer based with guitar augmenting the arrangements.
