Nick Barber is also known as former trance DJ and producer Nick Doof.
Based in London (UK) and Ibiza,Nick produced many classic tracks in the early days of the trance scene,collaborating with well-known artists including Simon Posford (Hallucinogen,Shpongle),Raja Ram (TIP,Shpongle),Dick Trevor (Green Nuns) and Benji Vaughn (Younger Brother,Prometheus).
Under the name Doof he released tracks with the best-known of the UK trance labels,including singles for Dragonfly,TIP and Matsuri and albums with TIP and Twisted Records.
He has also released 2 albums of trance under the name Vatos Locos,a collaboration with friends Celli Firmi (Earthling,Soundaholix) and Xavier Fux (Zulu Lounge).
