Brothers Mike and Jesse Hsu trace their musical roots to the 80''s and early 90''s, when new-wave and synthpop bands such as New Order and Depeche Mode dominated the alternative scene. Both were also classically trained in violin and piano, and they insert their instrumental virtuosity between the layers of sycopated bass lines, synth string chords, house beats, guitar riffs, and emotionally unperturbed vocals. "Waiting For The Dawn" was first released in 2000, under the previous https://www.tradebit.com label. Since then, their focus has been largely diverted to pursuing their day jobs, starting families, and the like. Mike has also written two symphonic works and several chamber music pieces, and continues to perform as a concert and orchestral violinist.
