She was born(Patricia Dolly) in Baton Rouge, La, raised on Soul, Blues, Jazz and R&B. She''s engaging on her First Solo Project. The Singer,Songwriter,Composer has been on this journey for a long time and is ready to go at this business called music on her own. She has sang and opened up for many International Artist, Jeane Carne, Mikki Howard, Jodeci and lots more. Getting her inspiration from her Mother Lela Joseph Gospel singer and her Father who used to manage Jazz acts back in the day. Growing up in the 70''s played a key role in her style of music watching and listening to Ole School like The Commodore, Earth Wind & Fire, ''King of Soul''James Brown and the ''Queen of Soul'' Aretha Franklin, being touched by the great ''Deep Soulful Sounds of Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonders and dancing and singing to the ''Jackson 5''. There are lot''s more wonderful Artist to name but, these are the ones who touched and inspired her the most. Her songs on her current single are called "Steve" and "Why". Her concept for these songs come from the trials of life. The world is changing so quickly but, the trials of life are still the same. Who''s doing what to whom, while trying to hold on to what they''ve got. The song ''Steve'' is about a woman telling hee man that she''s tired of going through the same changes and is contemplating venturing out herself so she try to explain to him one more time before she walks out the door to get his act together. ''Why'' is about people living in the same relationship, but, lies are being told from both sides, you''re doing one thing, but, you''re saying something completely different from what you''re doing. These songs are about life experiences and everybody has something to say about it. So just listen to the music and you too will understand. She is currently working on her album which be coming out in ''09.
