The life direction of James Anthony was realised when as a 9 year old boy he heard the incredible sound of amazing angelic voices singing beautifully, accompanied by music that was both wonderful and meaningful.
This awesome spiritual experience was coming from within him, and it became his life long passion knowing and realising the importance of his purpose and ministry that God had placed upon his life.
Over the years James has worked with many of the music industry’s well known names in both the secular and gospel fields honing his God given gifts of singing, producing, writing, arranging, engineering, conducting, directing, teaching, mentoring, and as a multi-instrumentalist impacting many lives along the way with his insight and blessings.
The past few years of James’s life have revealed God''s goodness spiritually enabling him to focus, and ‘The Journey, Vol 1’ is a testament of the commitment to live up to the God-given call to inspire others and help raise the level of praise.
James has always been passionate about his God given duty to help raise the level of praise. So much so that he now finds himself pouring his heart out for the Lord with these 13 meaningful, powerful, melodic, scripture based compositions that naturally usher in a spirit of praise, worship and reverence.

Everyone has a unique journey experience which defines their spiritual walk and life purpose. The Journey Volume 1, aims to create a further understanding to enable a clearer view and perspective of each individual’s relationship with God. Knowing your purpose will give you the knowledge and wisdom to serve God, but it is important that you understand and learn from the trials and tribulations of your journey. This is emphasized in the song ‘He alone is worthy’ as James poignantly sings “All circumstances are there for the learning”.
