Soroush is not an evangelist in promoting the Eastern style; with 20 years of experience in the music scene, he skillfully incorporates his style - an international message of harmony - into melodies that are at times Western and at times Eastern. On the cover of his first album, Soroush chose to commemorate the Bam Citadel, a grand and unique structure which is an icon of the glory days of the Persian Empire. The citadel had stood the test of time and against numerous invasions, until its untimely destruction in a recent devastating earthquake. The image of the citadel, unharmed and whole under the clear blue sky represents Soroush''s optimism about life, an enduring outlook that is carried across his music - a music equally pleasant for Western and Eastern audiences.
