Details:
Siccness, was raised in Orange County California in the city of Santa Ana. Inspired by such hip-hop greats as 2pac, Canibus, & Brotha Lynch Hung, Siccness started rapping at the turn of the century with one of his long time friends. About 2 years into his career as a musician Siccness became more serious with rapping and converted a portion of his home into a studio where he started to record daily with a group of friends from work. It was in 2006 when Siccness started to make a name for himself with the release of his EP titled “Here I Come” produced by Short Stack Productions, which he distributed to the people by selling his album out of a back pack in the streets. It was during that time when Siccness decided to start his own business venture, a record label, called Unruly Music.

The first single off of his EP was titled “F**K The Cops” which gained a lot of praise from the underground community. The song targeted the law enforcement’s corruptness along with the government’s reluctance to intervene. Siccness then went on to release a bonus track titled Born & Raised featuring his fellow label mate Klipp. “Born & Raised” instantly became a hometown hit in the city of Santa Ana. Siccness then decided this was a good opportunity to release a double music video for the bonus track Born & Raised, that also was to include a mini video for his track “Warrior”. The videos gained over 1,300 plays in just 3 days and were an instant success.

Since then Siccness has been known threw out the underground Hip-Hop community in Orange County for his collaborations, promotions, and rhyme skills. Siccness and Unruly Music hosted a Hip-Hop night in Orange County every week in 2007 at Club Rewind. The goal of Hip-Hop night was to let Hip-Hop artist perform for free with out any worries of coming up with money to perform. , as many other Orange County promoters do.

Siccness has performed at such local venues as The Galaxy Theatre (Santa Ana, CA), The Rhythm Lounge (Long beach, CA), House Of Blues (Hollywood, CA), Velvet Jones (Santa Barbara, Ca), & Club Rewind (Costa Mesa, CA) just to name a few. Siccness has opened up for such artist as De La Soul, Krs-One, Defari, Canibus and has headlined a few shows himself in O.C. Siccness is currently working on his 1st LP titled “Raw Street Music”, which will be released in April of 2009 on Strollin Wreckless ent. By pooling all of his resources Siccness has had the opportunity to work with such producers as, XL Middleton, Traksmith, Sickmade Beatz, Skyhie, Chopz, Ben Kanselbaum, & more.

With his LP release "Raw Street Music" Siccness plans to put O.C. on the map. With his unique swagger Siccness’s music is undeniable and will definitely make its presence felt in the Hip-Hop community. Siccness continues to develop his sound, by the end of 2009 Siccness will be a household name.
