Details:
NEW YORK CITY- Moxie, the female fronted pop/punk/folk band from New York is all but surrounded in pixie dust.

It began with an infectious debut CD called: ''The Floor'' and enough guts to create their own label called ''28 Days''.

But there''s more, much more.

''The Floor was met with national rave receives including the 3/12 stars from the NY Post, an AAA review in NY''s Newsday and another hernia inducing pile of clips that range from zines, teen magazines, daily''s, arts and entertainment and industry rags including SPIN.

In nearly no time ''Dawson''s Creek'' picked up on the record and incorporated Moxie''s single: "Suburbia" into their soundtrack.

College and commercial radio ran with it putting Moxie on over 300 stations in the US and charting the record on over 100 of them including "Hits" alternative commercial chart ranking them at #21 and Album Network at #9.

Retail even joined in and slapped Moxieinto discretionary listening stations in nearly all major chains in the US.

Now, while this all reads like "Alice in Wonderland", we ought not overlook that this sort of pixie dust is a combination of things, most of which have nothing to do with falling down a rabbit hole.

Moxie is a band that is committed to hard work.

While handling the delicate task of reflecting the world back to us through songs, they also handle the cumbersome task of managing the business of being a band so that ultimately, these songs can be heard.

Moxie balances both business and art while remaining committed to the honesty and integrity of the music.

Anchored firmly in the Ani De Franco ethic, Moxie has tasted the freedom one finds when standing on their own - integrity in tact.

With a full press and radio campaign Moxie hopes to bring attention to deserving artists while supporting local causes and affirming their commitment to their label.
