Details:
Diverse debut from north Alabama singer songwriter. At times upbeat and at times wistful. These acoustic and electric rock tunes recall influential bands of the 60s and 70s.
Blake is a singer/songwriter/guitar player based out of Huntsville, Alabama aka "the Rocket City". The songs on this album were culled from years of travel, cassettes, mp3 player/recorders, notebooks and a veritable grocery aisle of restaurant napkins and give nods to many of the rock and roll bands of the pre-digital era with the occasional Simon and Garfunkel reference.
"The album was born from a desire to pay tribute to the music that influenced me and from a need to bleed, lyrically. We all know that some feelings don''t go away and sometimes the only relief is to share and hope that shared pain is lessened, as Spider Robinson writes."
The story of Mr Adams'' Blues is all here, from first love to last heartbreak, and the reflection that comes when it''s all long gone.
