Howard and Ramona’s bluegrass music has been sweeping this part of Pennsylvania because of their amazing musical abilities. Howard comes from South West Missouri, in the Ozarks. His early influences in music came from his grandmother, father who played in a bluegrass band, and his mother who sang gospel music in church. Ramona grew up in the Pocono Mountains of McAdoo Pennsylvania. Her early influences were her father, who played guitar in several country bands, and her mother, who also sang in the church choir. “I was amazed by my mother’s steadfast love for our Lord”, Ramona said about her mother. Howard and Ramona founded Sweet Water Sabbath at Living God Lutheran Church, in Honey Brook, PA. where they still perform each Sunday night at the “Bluegrass Worship” service. Their gift of gospel music and song has been influential to many people in the area, and many have joined the Church as a result. Now enjoy “Sweet Water Bluegrass”, and their new album “Walk Behind Jesus”. Its easy to see why Howard & Ramona’s music is all around amazing.
