Born February 28, 1983, Anthony A. Johnson is an aspiring singer, songwriter and dancer. Anthony Johnson was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia by his mother and stepfather. He is one of four children and has gained his love for music at an early age. As a young child he always loved performing in local talent shows. It was at the age of 4, that he won his first talent show singing "Got To Be There" by the Jackson Five. Anthony had become known in his community as a star who was just waiting for his chance to shine. He was influenced by the artists his parents played on the radio, such as, Michael Jackson and Prince.
In 2000, Anthony began exploring the possibility of pursuing what had become his dream; “Music!!!” He joined Refuge C.O.G.I.C. Hip Hop Music Camp where he began learning about the music industry. It was there that he recorded his first song "Cheated". Anthony''s delivery of the song was so well received that it was placed on the air by a local DJ. "Cheated" played in regular rotation for approximately eight months.
In May 2002, Anthony was asked to perform at AFRAM Festival, a local event attended by 300,000 plus people. Throughout his journey to be discovered, he has collaborated with numerous producers, singers, and songwriters and has endeavored to continue growing as an artist. Anthony stands above the rest, not only because of his 6''4" stature, but because he is dedicated to his craft and never ceases honing his gift. In addition, Anthony has been featured in SEVEN Magazine and continues to perform locally. He remains steadfast in pursuing his dream of being a national recording artist.
