Tasha-D was born and raised in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She is a member of the Columbia Point Dawgs, original CPD...She is also an affiliate of HQB, HeadQuarters Block Music.
Tasha-D aka STORMYWEATHA has been rhyming consistently for over ten years and producing her own music since 1996. She graduated from Salem State College in 1995 and moved to New York City shortly thereafter. While in New York she has worked with many music industry professionals including:
The late Notorious BIG, The Rza, Ghostface Killah, Camron, Guru, Lauryn Hill, Free (of 106 and Park) Craig Mack,Doo-Wop, Black Rob, Teddy Riley, PuertoRock, G-Bo the Pro, Kurtis Blow and others.

When asked why she decided to go the indie route, she stated "This is my life work right here, and it is worth more than $2 per every $20.00 made by someone else...I delivered my albums done to most major labels, and their logo''s on my product were not worth $18.00 off the top to me...."
